"Werde ZOEVA Produkte an Tieren getestet?
Nein. " Source here I wrote them an e-mail to ask them about their animal testing policy, and that's their answer :
"Hi Sarah, Yes, our mineral cosmetics are vegan - for the most part (a few blushes still contain carmine - more on that later). We do NOT support animal testing. All our mineral products have NO animal testing, and all our foundations and concealers are 100% vegan friendly. There are a *few* blushes which contain carmine - an ingredient we are in the process of phasing out, and those affected colors are marked and identified on our product information page (there's a link at the bottom of every page of our website). With that exception, yes, Meow is vegan friendly. It was lovely to meet you, and I hope I've been helpful. Welcome to Meow, and have a great day Purrr, Maggie M. Customer Service Representative" Why Certified?
The demand for products that are made without chemicals and without animal testing has grown exponentially in the last few years. According to the Organic Trade Association, over 80% of US consumers buy organic. Yet choices for truly natural and organic cosmetics are limited. We decided to develop an entire line of makeup to meet this growing demand. Our certifications provide buyers the assurance that all Antonym Cosmetics products are made with natural and/or organic ingredients and that they have not been tested on animals. Our makeup is certified by Ecocert and our brushes are Vegan. Ecocert Certified Makeup Ecocert certifies that a brand’s products use natural and/or organic ingredients and that a company practices strict standards of quality control to ensure environmentally respectful manufacturing, packaging and storage. Vegan Certified Brushes Vegan certified products do not contain animal products or by products and have not been tested on animals. Burt's Bees does NOT conduct product or ingredient tests of any kind on animals. A few of our products contain ingredients derived from animals such as beeswax, royal jelly, milk and carmine." Source here I sent them an e-mail to ask them about their animal testing policy, this is their answer :

Yours Sincerely, Sleek MakeUP Team" I sent them an e-mail to ask them about their animal-testing policy, and this is their answer :
"Dear Ms Melmer, thank you very much for your interest in our products. We do not carry out animal testing, nor do we use contractors to do so, either in Germany or abroad. To guarantee the safety of our products, we only use well-known and proven ingredients. Since 1998, German animal protection legislation prohibits the use of animal testing in the development of cosmetic products. In autumn 2004, an EU directive was introduced prohibiting the use of animals in testing finished cosmetics. To advertise products with the logos you mention ranks as unfair competition. Their use suggests that items without these labels a r e tested on animals. This cannot be the case, since it is prohibited by law. If you have more questions please feel free to ask. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Yvonne Christ Verbraucherkommunikation" I found an e-mail written by the secretary of Terre D'Oc about their animal testing policy :
Cordialement" Source here You can read their idea and history for yourself here !
